Festival of Reggae set to bring a ‘Positive Vibration’ to Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle

As part of the celebrations for 55 years of Jamaican independence, Positive Vibration is coming to Liverpool Friday, June 8 until Saturday, June 9.

Winner of the Best New Festival 2016, the exciting and eccentric festival will make its return, bringing live music, amazing food stalls and art to the Baltic Triangle.

This year has promised to be the festivals biggest line-up so far, with music from Reggae artists Macka B, Eva Lazarus and Mungo’s Hi-fi.

The jam-packed event has something for everyone, including beatboxing, Caribbean drumming, reggae dancing and arts and crafts workshops.

The family-friendly festival will kick off at 5pm on Friday at District & Yard, Constellations Club and Garden, Hangar 34 and New Bird Street.

The venues will continue the party on Saturday from 12pm, with Hangar 34 opening from 1pm.

Children under 12 will have free entry and teenagers aged 12 to 17 can purchase reduced price tickets.

Adult weekend tickets can be purchased on the door for £50 or £30 for the individual days from District, 61 Jordan Street.
